I had the same problem when updating the BIOS in my laptop (ASUS
G501VW).
Didn't get middle button, nor back/forward.
For me, the problem was that when updating the BIOS Fast Boot was set to
ON automatically, putting it back to OFF resolved the issue for me.

Sorry, actually it was iwlwifi-3160-15.ucode and then
iwlwifi-3160-14.ucode that I tried which both worked better than the
default (since it's the highest revision) which is
iwlwifi-3160-16.ucode.

I think for this device was the same problem because they have the same Intel
Atom processor Z8300. Here they solved the problem, I don't know if this
solution can be ported for ASUS Vivobook E200AH.
