linked above, you will get the multi-touch support. Unfortunately
something went wrong right after that and I lost my wireless driver as
well as some issues with the video. I can't boot into this kernel now

Fan is working with latest mainline kernel. Funnily enough, when I
rebooted using the 3.13 kernel, the fan was working. Probably the fan
status doesn't get reset at reboot.

Suspend works just fine from GUI/command-line, as it always has. As of
14.04, suspend also works reliably upon closing the lid. Wake-from-
suspend does not work upon opening the lid. I have to press the power
button.

I'm a bit confused. Don't you mean a reporting discrepancy between
'lshw' vs. '/proc' and procps tools like 'free'. BOTH 'free' and 'cat
/proc/meminfo' show the WRONG info, whereas 'lshw' shows the correct
info.
Just to be clear, I'm rather confident that this is not a reporting

I have encountered similar issues as #69, #70, #72. For now I'll focus
on the frequent disconnection problem and not the resume-from-suspend
problem.
The new driver from #66 (as well as the old one in #48) works well 2/3
of the time, but the remaining 1/3 of the time, the connection is slow,
disco
cheese has the same problem. The video output crashes if started on Vaio
Pro 13 with Ubuntu 14.04

I've been able to reproduce the problem using a fresh Windows 2008R2
server image. The guest functions correctly for a period of time then
starts to 'freeze' for around 10 second

I have to report the same problem on my Ubuntu 14.04 (previously - 13.10 and
12.04 - everything was okay) with my USB drive (WD My Passport).
There is no crashlog and the system hangs few seconds after I plugged-in the
USB cable and I cannot type any CLI command, only mouse works, but it
ill, please boot into http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and execute
the following in a terminal:

Yes, apparently it does. Kindly see the attached screenshot, which
again shows 12gb using 'lshw' but 'free' and 'cat /proc/meminfo' show
only 8gb. This is from having booted the iso file 'utopic-desktop-

I did some better tests. With acpi_osi='!Windows 2012' and the default
3.11.0-12-generic kernel, when I deactivate wifi using the switch button
I get the following output:
