Hi Thamara,
0.9.10 doesn't sound like a official Kdenlive version or at least a very, very
old one. Please
try to use offical version from https://kdenlive.org/en/download/[1]
If Kdenlive still crashes please consider to open a bug report on
https://bugs.kde.org/[2]

Hello to the Kdenlive Mailing List,
It's about trying to get Kdenlive 0.9.10 running on Salix 14.2.
Unfortuneatly it crashes right at the start.
Application: Kdenlive (kdenlive), signal: Segmentation fault
Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1".

Hello Tim,
Thanks for reporting... 0.9.6 is now several years old, many things have been
fixed in 0.9.10, that is available in your latest distro stable release (8 aka
Jessie). Upgrading would bring you many fixes in all KDE & multimedia stack.
And note that we don't have volunteers to continue

Hi there. I do not claim to have a lot of knowledge in this area, but:

No, it does not (btw: why does this command output its result on stderr
rather than stdout? I wasted a perfectly good "inigo -q
if this is latest svn, is seems mlt could not get the "avcolour_space" filter
does show "inigo -query filters"
a line with this filter ?
if not your ffmpeg install is missing something.

Hi folks,
with an ffmpeg, mlt, mlt++ and kdenlive4 all up to date from svn, I get
a startup crash from kdenlive. Below is the KDE crash handler log. I
have a 'mlt_properties_set_int (this=0x0, name=0xb51474e4 "forced",
value=3)' in the crash backtrace just like Johannes did, but I've

I did the test with patched dvgrab now. If I capture from the beginning
of tape, same problem. If I play a few seconds, stop, and use dvgrab
then, all works flawlessly. There seems being something on beginning of
tape confusing mlt. Another thing I noticed is that for the non working

Hi,
I noticed that for your testing you used the m2t clips from vasst. I
just want to let you know that I am the producer of these clips. As I
always like supporting open source software I give you the permission to
use this clips for demo material for kdenlive. This is only the case for

Hi,
If I try to load an m2t file kdenlive crashes.
Inigo only displays a green image. If I do a forward by one frame, inigo
also crashes.
Inigo was also tried with hdv patches applied but I think for playback
anyway it should not matter if they are applied or not if I understand
the source correc
