Been there, done that, doesn't make any difference. My question is why
should I have to delete the never version "libotr-4.0.0" which
"kdenetwork-4.8.4_1" is currently linked agains

Just a simple update to the packagekit and packagekit-qt4 to get
packagekit 0.7.6 installed under FreeBSD. works on my 9-stable box, I
see no reason it shouldnt work..
