Hello:
I don't do much with KDE, so maybe this is the way it's
supposed to work. However ...
I just install kdegames4. I was expecting the executables to
go in /usr/local/bin.
Instead thay have apparently gone into /usr/lo

I'm installing a laptop from scratch with 7.1-REL, portsnap fetch and
portsnap extract to replace the 7.0-REL in the laptop of my wife :-)
my question is concerning KDE4: is the port (4.1.4) now stable enough to
be used or should I stay with KDE 3.5.10? when I tried it in August 2008

I finally finished the portupgrade to 4.1.4 on one machine and tried
create packages for another machine.
2 packages could not be created correctly:
kdeedu-4.1.4 is missing lib/libsbigudrv.so* -- from the build logs,
these files were never installed. What could be wrong?
kde-workspace-4.1.4 is

make sure you have the lastest cmake from ports (cmake-2.6.1_1).

FindKDE4Internal.cmake is created in the kdelibs4 port.

Seems that KOrganizer is somehow corrupting .ics file. Loading such file
results in SIGSEGV.
Has anyone experienced same problems when using kdepim-3.5.10_2 or any
previous version?
