Thanks for the patch.
I had to adapt it and apply it to kbookmarks. (konqueror from kapps 19.12.3
does not yet include it.)
Now the bookmark menu works.
But the folders in the bookmark bar still cause a crash.

With Linux-4.14.12 i can not mount my mobile phone using mtp:/. Switching back

Additional detail: clicking on the folder icon in the palette docker makes
Krita crash. If you mean read/write protection by blacklisting (?): the
Palette.kpl-File (and the other palettes) in \AppData\Roaming\krita
