Ok, had a quick look at current master and that is better.
It still closes the session in the split view if you close it, but at least you
can't close multiple tabs accidentally.

I updated Qt from 5.9 to 5.10 and with that akregator works again, so I think
this might have been caused by a upstream bug in Qt.
