I'm using 1.6.0_10, and I'm unable to reproduce the problem. Smells like a Java
problem, either in versions up to _11 (where a bug got fixed) or beginning with
I can duplicate it with 1.6.0_10.
Looks like they've implemented a bug or changed something because of
JavaFX.

What OS/Window manager are you using? I can't duplicate it with _10 on
Linux/IceWM.

I think Jukka wrote that they don't have this problem. I have to check his

Roger that.
If they don't have the same problem, then I wouldn't be against
removing them. This would make my fix unecessary. We should see what
Stefan thinks.

Hi,
Constrained versions are missing at least possibility to select features with
Ctrl-Left click, and the whole Right click menu. Right click menu has quite a
many tools. Have a look on those and think if they should be sacrified for
hiding this little bug. I would guess that adding right cl

Good feedback Jukka. Paolo has suggested another fix to the existing
"non-constrained" tools that might work.
Whodda thunk such a little bug would merit such an extensive discussion. :]

Hi Jukka,
I didn't realize these extra shortcut on originale draw tools
BTW I discover an extra useful tool. Try this
1) select draw polygon (tool on toolboxor draw line)
2) start to draw the polygon
3) hold Ctrl
4) while holding ctrl change the tool on the toolbox, eg. selecting or move tool

Hi,
Amazing. You can even stop drawing a line, select point tool, insert couple of
points and continue the line that was on hold. Larry, have you been aware of
that existing possibility while thinking about the custom drawing tools?

OK. That's good. Did we commit this to the core then?

No, Peppe has discovered an unknown (to me) feature of quasimode tools.
They are designed to be interruptible, but I was unaware that you could
switch tools using the control key. It makes sense though.
It makes custom drawing tools even more useful. I haven't accomplished any
more on them yet.
Cool find Peppe. Should we put something about this on the Wiki? Or
even better...make a little tutorial video. :]

For the aspiring programmers among us:
I wrote a short blog post about what I learned from my experiences
developing the Super Select Tool plug-in for OpenJUMP, which is now
quite a mess. You might find it interesting if you are just starting
to tinker with Java and OJ.

I'd like to try out my refactoring of the core in a more incremental
way. (See the latest post on http://openjump.blogspot.com/ for more
details.) I believe the easiest way to do this would be with a branch
of the SVN. I don't want to make changes to our trunk, but if I use a
copy of the trunk on m

but I have no clue either if you can approach what you want by that.
