Hei Helmut, yes it could work. However, it would be good to know first if you want to stay independent from OpenJUMP (since it is GPL) and really use your own GUI. Becasue OJ has a couple of nice API GUI functions - so, if it is simple stuff it may be better to start with OpenJUMP directly and
