As far as I know, the SWFUpload component can "validate" the file size

Hi,
I got a html that will accept user image file input, then when user
click a button which will trigger a php to process that image file.
i want to validate that image file against their size/width/height/
file type etc, so once pass it validation, will save it to the server.
my question is
Trying to implement this now... Working off of what you said, is there
a way to do something like this?
var validationOptions = { rules: { name: { required: true } } };
$.extend(validationOptions, { rules: { email: { required: true } } });
And get a validationOptions with both? Or will I need
This should be a pretty good solution for what I need. Thanks Jörn!

Thanks for the answer, but... It's a bit complicated no ?
I thought, maybe a :

That would idealy call a function restoring all previous event

It has to be written for each plugin ?

I tend to store the object before tooltip cloned in a variable, then
when the tooltip is no longer needed, remove the old object and do a
nice after(var);
ie:
var x = $("#id").clone();
x.clueTip();
$("#id").remove().after(x);
