Hi,
Krzysztof Halasa (1):
Allow interlaced modes.
this is a good news hopefully it applies to i915 Clarkdale proc.
IS there any special requirement in order to make the interlace mode work?
like kernel version, etc
thanks all for the hard work in supporting these linux drivers
thanks

Hi Kathleen,
I have understood that if you configure those items then you should be able to
boot with the LCD projector off.
I wanted to achieve the same thing with my TV but didn't had time to test.
TV_FORMAT - output standard
This property allows you to control the output standard used
Thanks Alex for the info.
I will wait for the next mainline linux kernel 2.6.35 rc2+ built on lucid and
will report if this is working.
Cheers

Yes it's the same issue.
Thanks for poiting me to right link.
It looks like no one cares to get this solved as this has been opened since
2007?
at least intel drivers do support this mode on Windows and from the product
datasheet nothing was said around no support of interlace under linux
:-(
Another question would be to know if i915 is the correct module for the Intel
HD Graphics from a Clarkdale i3 proc?
Thanks
