validate the saslauthd.conf file, but I also compared it to the
saslauthd.conf file on another system which is working correctly.
I am confused. Any ideas?

It sure sounds to me like cyradm is favoring the alias ip for some odd
reason that probably has to do with your machine more than cyradm. When
you shut down Citadel and change cyrus.conf to simply 'listen="imap",
then cyrus is listening on all available addresses and that solves the
prob

saslauthd with the LDAP option. I do not get a similar error for imap accesses and in the /usr/local/lib/sasl2 directory I have both an imap.conf and a pop3.conf and they are identical.
Do I need to add some additinal configuration info somewhere?

can add the cyrus acl to that users addressbook. However, log in as the
'cyrus' user, I cannot add an acl to any regular user's addressbook.

I've just brought up cyrus imap v2.1.13 and I've noticed that there are
over lmtpd processes running. Isn't that a bit excessive? It's starting
to bog down the server.
