i have a modem(56k).. bandwidth is limited(obviously..!)
can i somehow place any download, to a "low priority" task... so that my

To add on... to that ..
there are two ways to use it in linux "kernel"
first, the old "ramdisk" option in the kernel.. (which by experience is quite
unstable when you are talking about > 200 Mb drives !) it infact results in a
hung kernel, with only hard-boot to spare..)

hi ,
i'll get down to the matter straight.
i have this old p-120.
the problem started when a loose lan card came off. i open the machine, after
a hard shutdown, fixed the card, increased ram from 16M to 32M.
now the boot up gave
"grep /proc/cmdline: no such file or directory.."
/etc/rc.d/rc :
hi guys,
trivial problem...
once again..
my simple question is,
i have an email with a pgp public key of a friend. (pgp version 7.0.3)
i have gpg-1.0.3 installed.
would these two work together?
and if so, how do i import the key to my list ??
a command like
gpg --import friend.pgp
doesnt work,
hi amit,
and frankly, if it only helps...
all i could say is, that quite like me (arguably! ;) , you would see a lot of
jokes (pj's rather!) , shortcuts (lol=laughing out loud... kinda stuff) and a
lot of abbreviations... pgp-pretty good privacy, w/o without, and b/w between
and the likes...
