hi amit, and frankly, if it only helps... all i could say is, that quite like me (arguably! ;) , you would see a lot of jokes (pj's rather!) , shortcuts (lol=laughing out loud... kinda stuff) and a lot of abbreviations... pgp-pretty good privacy, w/o without, and b/w between and the likes...
ofcourse, with no hard intentions, we all wish you learn linux well, but i personally wish that you learn linux, the hard way, not because i am mean, and wish that you go thru the same "hell" !, but because once you hit your head 273 times on the wall, drink a glass full of egg yolk, and jam your legs between 42 escalators, and ofcourse read a few books, you wouldnt really understand why a thing works, and how... so its all in the spirit. i believe, wishing to know it all never helps, just willing to know a bit more always is a big push... with all due respects.. affly robins On Wednesday 06 February 2002 05:52 pm, you wrote: > hi amit, > > just keep on "listening" > > you really do not HAVE TO understand everything right > now > > get a good book and follow it systematically > > get your basics right: study os and networkling > fundamentals. you will not survive w/o them > > take up some project - setting up apache, dns, xserver > etc.etc and follow it through > > that's juts about it, folks? > > -- |\/| /\ /\/ _/`` |-| > > --- amit gupta <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > hello all, > > > > I am a newbie in field of LINUX.but trying to > > explore its vastness. > > Please can anybody kindly tell me that where to > > start from,i ve loaded > > Linux 7.2 and started reading a book on it,as i ve > > registered on linux-delhi > > i got a lot of mails about linux queries, which i > > cannt understand, for the > > past week i have opened each and every mail and > > tries to find out what > > people r asking and what they got in answer. But most > > of the time i dont > > understand anything. > > So please guide me seniors, what kind of mail i > > should check and where to > > start from. > > again, > > HI TO ALL > > AMIT _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
