I recently migrated from Red Hat 7.1 to 7.3. Previouslly in 7.1 the hardware
senors could be visualised in the KDE system Guard but now they are not
visible in RH 7.3. The sensors are installed & can be visualised in a
terminal window but not in the Graphical KDE System Guard. Please Help

Change the Driver "i810" to "vesa" to read Driver "vesa" in your XF86Config
file. You can get a resolution of 800 x 600. This is a workaround till the
next xfree86 comes out. I have marked the change in your supplied XF86Config
With -> "vesa". Hope it works for you.

Hi,
Try 'knoppix xmodule=vesa' as the boot option (minus the quotes ' '). Most
video cards work with this at a max resolution of 800 x 600.
