this is a little off topic, but an amazing story:
someone got ripped off by a fraudster on eBay, in selling off a macintosh.
amazingly, the whole macintosh community jumped in, tracked the guy down,
involved the feds, the police, home-grown detectives and the works, and
*nailed* the guy proper.

hi,
i have installed alsa sound driver,
and it got installed without any dificulty
but when i played a song in XMMS ,it seems
that song is playing but no sound is comming
from speaker.
in audio mixer nothing is muted,
Pl let me know how to solve out the
problem.
