rpm is the command to remove and add pacakages. try info rpm.
rpm -i pack_name for installing.
rpm -e pack_name for uninstalling (check I'm not sure)
First rpm -q pack_name to see if package is installed .(Here pack_name can be
any package name like try *gnome* wi

i have installed the PCQuest Linux 7.2 installed. i
want to uninstall GNome and then install the newer
version of GNome. how can i do it?
