Thanks for the reply. I got mixed response about the Modem,
perticularly about WiFi.
Suggections:
1. Go for the Type I (just Ethernet) modem and add your
own WiFi router with that.
2. If you have the own modem then service people will simply say it
your device issue and Esc.

I Have a BSNL connection, a separate modem and a Wireless router. Here
is my view.
Two different device hence the wires make a mess. If there is a physical
cable problem, the BSNL people complain saying the device(wireless)
which I have is causing the problem, so you can expect the same if you
