Dear All,
First, thank you very much for your answers.
Meanwhile, I found Prometheus related AlertManager which can handle data
checking and make an API call towards Icinga2 and involve alerts via its
command pipe and passive check combination.

Hi,
We have a lot of hosts (~7000) monitored by Grafana/Prometheus but there is
an intention to connect these systems with our Icinga (or Icinga2),
actually generate notifications from collected/displayed data.
Icinga instances (mainly scheduler) already reach their limit at 3000-3500

Hi all,
I've a problem with our Icinga v1.11.6 system. We want to measure downtime
for each network device but counters related to parent devices always clear
when the instance is reloaded (it is necessary to proceed reload due to
generated configuration and because there are frequent changes with

Hi all!
I have a problem with Icinga scheduler's functionality. Once the host is
unreachable, scheduler isn't start to using the retry_interval to check
host's reachability, but it still using check_interval. Because the
max_check_attempt parameter is set to 3, after 3 attempts the system
changes
check intervals were
incorrect and I have to think about it and fix them. :)
Thank you for previous answers!

Hi!
I have a problem with monitoring some devices. We have installed them at
end users and of course, we want to monitor them too. But not all of these
users are using devices as they should.
Therefore, we want to know, how long are some devices disconnected from
network. If elapsed downtime is gr
Hi!
I have to configure new Icinga v2 monitoring system with PNP4Nagios plugin
to check performance data on Cisco ASRs (9000 Series). With other routers
this is very simple, but ASR can contains at least 2 slots and I have to
check 5 perfdata/slot. I have no idea, how can I do this. Icinga v1 was
