Hi all, I've a problem with our Icinga v1.11.6 system. We want to measure downtime for each network device but counters related to parent devices always clear when the instance is reloaded (it is necessary to proceed reload due to generated configuration and because there are frequent changes within the entire network topology). We're monitoring a quite large amount of devices (~10000) and there is often configured a parent-child relationship. It's a little bit exciting (but also annoying) because counters for child devices don't clear only for parent devices.
There was a similar problem previously when we have stop-start command within the configuration generator script but after I found it, immediately changed to simple reload command, when the instance does not restart only the configuration is updated. After that it was fine for some weeks but now it works badly again. What can cause this problem? Have anybody any idea regarding the mentioned issue? Thank you in advance. Regards, Gergo
