I have a REXX function written in assembler from the CBT-tape (Salvador
Carrasco's files) to get a modify or stop from the console.
Now I need to get the userid whom made the modify.
The CIB has a pointer to UTOKEN, but I understand that it is on fetch protected
storage.
Can I get this use
How do you plan on handling commands issued from master console? Many do not
require operator to logon to it?

The plan was only to get the userid and return it to the REXX.
If the modify comes from the master console without logon then return either
blank or a default userid.

We are currently in the early stages of z/OS v2.4 installation.
Since were working from home, it would help if we could have more than one HMCS
consoles.
We are using a z13s.

I think it would be easier to use the ICC for z/OS consoles, depending upon how
they are defined to the ICC and z/OS. Also, it would be more secure, if you
require the user to logon to the console.

RACROUTE (assembler program), RACRAUTH (rexx), and RACROUT$ (assembly

Yeah, MS finally got the message. The newest "Edge" is yet another wrapper
around Chromium, so presumably it doesn't suck quite as hard as MS browsers
traditionally do. But I'm just going to assume that the best it can be

dd statement (w/LRECL=80) and the afore mentioned eye catcher.
Also, the source in FILE404 has an eye catcher of "T.S.S.O." which is missing

I like SDSF alright, but I'm really an IOF big-- er, enthusiast. But IOF and
SYSVIEW both have REXX interfaces, as does SDSF. You should be able to get
what you want if you use either of those.
