Hi group,
I am new to JES3 systems and am told that to add a new SYSOUT class requires a
restart of JES3. Is that the case?
The only thing I can find about modifying the config the *MODIFY,CONFIG command
which can change these items.

For MVS datasets the server type needs to be MVS and you need to define a Site

Likewise you will need a separate Site for USS files.

Is JES2 z22 checkpoint mode required as pre-req for z/OS 2.5?
I see mention of this in Marna Walle's presentations,

record of this requirement in the z/OS 2.5 release

Has anyone implemented a feed from Syslog using RSS and AF/OPER?
The idea is to present RACF messages to our service desk so they can have

I'm thinking I can write an exit program to use in AF/OPER that feeds RSS.

Hi IBM-MAIN list,
What can you recommend for incremental backups for volumes with strictly
non-DB2 datasets (VSAM and non-VSAM)?
I know ADRDSSU supports this. If you use ADRDSSU, how do you manage the
rotation of the backups?
Is there a better 3rd party backup package you can recommend?
