know why it was taken out of docs/ though)..

I asked because I made a personal debian package of SVN trunk based on debian
experimental one with some modifications.
I just wonder if I could do a cfengine3-doc package to have the
reference manual in info ;-)

What happens if your replace pattern is just $(oldv)? I worry that the .*'s
might be greedy In which case .*? might be safer.

Could you post a self-contained example (as simple as possible) that shows this
problem? Makes it much easier to try it on our own and see what's wrong.
