Subject: Finding "segfault at" error messages in syslog

I ran a search for "segfault at" in the group and didn't see anything so I hope
I'm not repeating a question.

Now that I've had more time to take a closer look at the cfengine
implementation I've noticed these error messages in the syslog.

Dec 3 16:40:39 server1.company.com kernel: cf-promises[32517]: segfault at
0000000000000039 rip 000000000043ebf4 rsp 00007ffff748cf50 error 4
Dec 3 16:40:45 server1.company.com kernel: cf-agent[32458]: segfault at
0000000000000049 rip 000000000044e864 rsp 00007fffe08c33c0 error 4
Dec 3 16:40:47 server1.company.com kernel: cf-promises[32587]: segfault at
0000000000000039 rip 000000000043ebf4 rsp 00007fffc9d117d0 error 4
Dec 3 16:40:53 server1.company.com kernel: cf-serverd[13610]: segfault at
0000000000000039 rip 00000000004484b4 rsp 00007fff576fbbd0 error 4

All the servers running cfengine show these types of errors just not all
showing all 4 of the processes here segfaulting at once. These are very
consistent. Almost every server at almost every time that cf-execd runs. It is
scheduled in cron to run every 20 minutes on all servers at 0,20,40. This is on
CentOS 5.4 with Cfengine 5.0.1p1.

Has anyone else seen these types of errors? Any idea what's causing them?
