How can we believe what gold timberland boots you say? After all, is there a
possibility that maybe you got some sums
Looks like it's a problem in the RPM build I was using. Next update
will be from the Cfengine staff. Thank you!

Quick update: Got a seg fault on the 3.1.5 cf-serverd... collecting
necessary gdb data.

Here is my complete configuration, not just what I think are the
relevant bits (thank you, Mark). Please note that when I swap out
the 3.1.4 or 3.1.2 RPM for the 3.1.0 version (built from source), I
get the expected behavior (I can copy files).

I am following the "Troubleshooting remote connections" section in the manual.
1. I've set skipverify on the server:

I have 4 virtual servers at this ISP.
cfengine00 (3.1.4) can pull files from cfengine03 (3.1.0) just fine.
cfengine00 (3.1.4) cannot pull files from cfengine02 (3.1.4).
I tried copying the site.cf and promises.cf from the 3.1.0 box to the
3.1.4 box, but it does not help, I still can
