Which you can do by calling cf-agent directly anyway so nothing new is

This is odd. I built community 3.1.1 with a default configure (Debian 64 bit).
It installed to /usr/local. Look at this:

I agree - cf-runagent should be able to pass through the -b option to
cf-agent, in the same way -D is passed through. Except that -b already
has a different meaning to cf-runagent...

I've run 3.1.1 since yesterday morning in a Linux, Solaris and AIX environment.
No surprises. Cf-serverd is stable in memory use. C
