These are most probably explicitly ignored errors returned by copy command (on install) trying to copy files on itself. It happens if you don't specify HB_INSTALL_PREFIX. An advise for everyone: Please post your complete std+err output if there is any error, because it's nearly impossible to gues

I don't think so. 'clean' will clean the "temp" files and dirs created by simple make run. It will never delete anything from your install dirs though (again: same as old non-GNU make). If you're unsure, compare the folder size after build and after a consecutive 'clean'. 'install' is also working
