Once I get past that blockage, then I can turn off TOD and RST so they

screen I'm visiting. When we are getting QFX or whatever file to IMPORT
into GC, we are not looking for a statement, we are looking for a

program until you can master a simple payment or transfer from your
checking account. Please read the help files in GnuCash. When the program
is open click Help up at the top. You will want to read the Tutorial and

Carl, I’m with you on manual entry. GNC does a good job of remembering what
you did last time so after a handful of months I give everything that is
matched a glance to be sure it’s correct and deal with the unmatched ones.
One caveat. I duplicate regular monthly transactions with multiple spl

I have not used Libre Office much but it is very similar to Excel. Excel
allows me to choose my entire spreadsheet and then sort it in any order -
and on any column I wish. I'd guess Libre Office has that ability.

It’s no biggie changing the date and many programs default on the.current date
or the last entered. It’s fine with me if you just leave it alone. Besides,
unless I’m mistaken, when I pull in a QFX, the system uses the date it cleared
the bank, not the date entered or written.

Peggy, all of my registers are the earliest date to most current unless I
specifically sort one by description or some other feature. Try sorting in
standard order. I cannot replicate your problem when I sort in date order.

Where can I find information on the check templets?
I have found 'quicken_3part.chk' which are text documents. I need
something that will help me understand what the various parts are.
I currently use the 4th address line as a memo and I want to print this
line on the stubs on the st

That is what I did, Victor. (It is Ctrl-P on my platform.) Only the first
one printed. Each of the others, when I did Ctrl-P, went through the
procedure on the screen but it never went to the printer.
