Since updating to the latest version I have been unable to get prices to download. I updated the necessary Perl modules using gnc-fq-update. In the application it does not report an error. I can see the command line window (running the perl scripts) briefly appear in the background, then close.

Looking at the picture of the menu shows that it has been customized. Next best step would be to download the official full Windows package and try to install it. That should create and populate that group properly. I don't believe reinstalling it will harm in anyway as I have reinstalled multi

Geert... just to put a cap on this thread (it has a good ending)... 1. The Dell XPS 13 that was involved is not a 2-1 version (which Dell does offer), it has a standard Windows 10 Professional install with no optional tablet version as far as I'm aware. I have no idea why the Start menu does not

Ok, so after my last post, I figured I better read the user manual as it's been a long time since I've installed GnuCash.  Appears to me that I need to "install" the Finance::Quote module.  However, despite the documentation, I cannot find the "Gnucash Start Group"-- all it includes is the exe file

Hi Randix That screenshot is too small for me to read, however you can start troubleshooting using the GnuCash price support utilities in a command window. Here is an example - Windows 10 / GnuCash 4.1 C:\Program Files (x86)\gnucash\bin>perl gnc-fq-check ("1.49" "adig" "aex" "aiahk" "alphava

I'm using GnuCash 4.2 on Windows 10 Pro. On a separate laptop, I installed GnuCash, and copied over from my regular laptop where I normally use GnuCash, the files that I thought contained the customization needed for the new install. Everything works great, except for one component, price retriev
