Nigel, Not sure with Windows 10 but on Linux this would likely be not having one of either libdbd-mysql, libdbd-pgsql or libdbd-sqlite3 runtime libraries installed. AFAIK GnuCash on Windows 10 uses the Cygwin Linux emulator so the cygwin version of these should work if they are not already instal
