Hi,
First thanks to all those who responded to my question. After due
consideration and experimentation, I reached the same conclusion as
another correspondent: scheduled transactions using variables is more of
a nice concept than a practical proposition as currently coded. I can

Hi,
First thanks to the dedicated team responsible for this invaluable resource.
I have a number of scheduled transactions which need a variable for
completion. Sometimes I have the values for some, but not ones coming up
earlier in the list. When this occurs GNU Cash does not process any of
t coding to create a text file and
copying/pasting the data into it.
Best wishes!

So, you need to create the file somewhere, and then copy it to
the configuration directory, restart GnuCash, and the changes should

I am a longstanding Gnu Cash user, currently using V5.6 on 3 Win

the size of the register font is causing me difficulties. I have
succesfully changed fonts in reports, however cannot do so for the
registers.

Hi,
I have used V5.4 satisfactorily for some while. I then recently

first time of use whenever I used the Vendor's Report GNU Cash closed.

To those who responded thank you.
I am aware of rounding issues. I do a fair bit of work in Excel which
takes input in various formats, and still produces a correctly rounded
result. This is what I was looking for.
That said, no further comment is necessary. It has been kindly pointed

I would like to be able to print reports which display numbers in whole

Is what I want to do achievable in Gnucash? If
Hi,
Rogier and David, I have had a situation several times where I have

Hi,
I have a number of personalised reports (using only standard GNU Cash
options) on my notebook. I also have an SP3 on which I have installed
GNU Cash. I use a data file stored on a NAS.
Excuse ignorance, but the report options appear to be machine specific,

Hi,
I have explored every avenue I could see to get reports to use whole
dollar amounts rather than dollars and cents. Is there some way I have
missed to configure reports to display whole dollars only?
Any input welcomed.
Thanks & regards
