Richard, I got a similar error with some scheduled transactions. It
seemed to occur when there was a comma in one of the entries. Didn't
matter which back-end I was using. Couldn't find a preference related
to commas. However, removing the commas stopped the error. My problem

It is my understanding that 2.6.21 is the only 2.6.x that is compatible
with the 3.2 data structure. I have used 2.6.21 successfully with 3.2
data, but older 2.6.x report that they are not compatible. I believe

I just recently built Gnucash 3.2 on Mint 18.3 following the steps in
the wiki instructions. Did the dependencies, the googletest install,
the build and finally gnc-fq-update. It works just fine. There are a
lot of steps, but they seem to be correct.

linux was to save a report config and search for the file which was
saved_reports2.8 or something like that. The old reports were still
where 2.6.xx put them. Moved them to the new location and renamed them

GC from terminal, I get a long list of Warning/Error items related to
files in /usr/lib/gnucash/scm/ccache/2.0/gnucash/main.go for example;
bad header on object file.
