Does the website need to be up and running for updating security prices in
the Price Editor? Everytime I attempt to update prices since the website
went down, it hangs gnucash and I have to kill the process to exit the
program. This always leave the program with a lockfile open and I have to

This is happening on Window7 64bit too. I didn't have this issue until I
installed 2.6.19. Now even the simplest report of summing up an expense
report of less than 50 entries takes a couple of minutes to appear with the
"GnuCash is not responding" error message.

hmmm... I'm out of ideas for now. Your Perl is pretty old. Although it
should be working AFAIK, would you mind upgrading to a recent version ?

I used to be able to pull quotes for FT Portfolios symbols FOEMJX and FDNWFX
from Yahoo. I have not been able to get F:Q to pull these symbols from either
alphavantage, ftportfolios or ftportfolios_direct. These are the only
securities that I have not been able to get the reworked F:Q releases
I have been unsuccessful in getting F-Q to pull any quotes with any success
other than one time in a fluke. I have tried 1.39, 1.40. 1.42 and 1.43. I
update the module manually for 1.40 and 1.42. I got two test securities to
update on Friday. Every other attempt has produced the unable to re

till yesterday?
What are the Gnucash developers going to do to remedy the problem?
I see that there is a free API from Alpha Vantage. Why can't the G

I can't get Price Editor to work today. Worked fine up till yesterday.
Now all it does is hang GnuCash with a spinner and timeout. I
completely removed Perl and reinstalled including the Finance-Quote
module. When I run gnc-fq-check, gnc-fq-dump, and gnc-fq-update, they
all come back with th
