Odd. I’ve found ~/Library/Application Support/GnuCash/gtk-3.0.css to be the only path that works for me. Just tested it again, with the same result: ~/Library/Application Support/GnuCash/config/gtk-3.0/gtk-3.0.css does not work for me. MacOS 14.7.1 Sonoma, Gnucash 5.10 (Apple silicon). > On D

For me, MacOS (I’m on Sonoma 14.5) opens the file with the most recent version of Gnucash. I’ve suffixed all my Gnucash versions with the version number (Gnucash-5.6, etc.). There is a user setting available by choosing “Get Info” on any data file that allows one to “Open with:” and choose th

The location is actually /Users/yourusername/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs. I tried copying my GnuCash data file there and opening it from within GnuCash (File>Open) and everything looked OK, though I think my View preferences on the accounts were not set the same (Double Line, e

Might this have been the setting View>Filter By>{“Other” tab]>Show unused accounts? If you have that checked and create a new account, it won’t show in the Accounts list because it is, as yet, unused. > On Feb 4, 2023, at 4:18 PM, Gyle McCollam wrote: > > Michael, > Thank you. I tried adding

Puzzled by this and can’t see an obvious reason, but GnuCash 4.0 does not recognize any printers in my setup (MacOS 10.14.6 Mojave). The Print dialog shows an empty box with no printers, the Print button is greyed out. The “Page Setup” dialog from the File menu, next to “Format,” shows only “Any

I’ve been testing out Gnucash for an envelope-like system for a bit and so far, it seems do-able if your reporting and accounting needs are minimal. I ignore the budgeting features altogether and don’t really use reports much. This site got me started:

From Anita’s screenshots, I believe she has inadvertently selected “View>Show Tab Bar” and can remove that extraneous (because the active Gnucash file already displays in the window title bar) bar by selecting “View>Hide Tab Bar”. I do note that for me, if the “Tab Bar”—which isn’t really a ta
