This was false alert.
Everything is working as expected.
My upper monitor was turned off and window for account edits and new account
was positioned on that monitor instead of the main one.
Entire problem that caused me about 3-4hrs of "debugging" was caused by this

Maybe not ideal, but once the matching account is highlighted, you can hit the
“esc” key followed by return to open the account.

Your answer was the solution. I did a flatpak uninstall then a
dnf install of gnucash and I can now print directly to my printer.
