I've done a bit of investigation of this and found what you're looking for.
Here's the lines from my gtk.css file that change the very line you're
asking about:
.GncRegisterPage
{
background-color: @hueBGMain ;
}
.GncRegisterPage label
{
font-family: "CopperPlate", sans-serif ;

Thanks Geert and all who responded to my plea for help! Got 3.8 working and
everything seems to be working fine now including the - Stacked Bar Expense
Graph. All the charts look much more polished in this version and will have to
look into what other new features have been added since 2.6.18
Sorry, select the Head or Tail stylesheet *then* click edit, but I’m sure
you’ll guess that when you see the dialog box.

Then for the report: Options > General > Stylesheet, choose 'Head or Tail’, you
can then save the report configuration so you don’t have to change the
stylesheet each time.

Indeed.
It has been so long since I tried it I never realized it was working. Perhaps I
should test a bit before cluttering up the list.
Thanks!

Hi All,
When I create a Profit & Loss Report and export it as a PDF, is there a way of
putting the date it was created at the bottom of the sheet.

Hi Leo,
The warning you get is because gnucash can't find the last file you opened in

You can ignore the warning. When you get the empty gnucash page, use File-

Hi Geert,
Thanks for going to the trouble to load the 2.6.21 to confirm that that version
would not generate the Expense Stacked Bar Graph and for giving me a list of
options to best resolve my issues.
I've decided to dispense with the old version altogether and give another
attempt to download
I think there is an RFE already filed on this or something very similar.
Certainly, I have found the shorthand method to be pretty quick, unless I
accidentally hit the wrong key, then it is a mess. (particularly hitting ‘;’
instead of ‘:’ for a separator)
It would be nice to have arrow key navi
No, this hasn’t changed as of v3.8.

Hi Leo,
Based on your trace file, I see you are on Windows. So I have now installed
the old 2.6.21 release on my Windows test machine and I see the same error
message.
I have searched around in the code a bit and it looks like there was a change
in that report between version 2.6.19 and 2.6.20
Amen to that! When I use the account picker while entering a
transaction, I get all accounts in alphabetical order. It would be MUCH
more useful to get a fan-out by account hierarchy. After all, if I know
I'm entering an expense, other types of accounts just get in the way.
As it is, to use the pi
