I'll put a note on the page to that effect.

Hi Dennis,
It would appear that swig2.0 has not been released for Ubuntu 18.04 but
swig3.0 has. Generally you can often use updated versions of the
libraries with GnuCash. It may not always work, particularly across
major versions, but always worth a try. If it works let me know and

That's what I had to do to get AlphaVantage quotes working in 3.1 (on
Mac OS X), because my old mechanism for doing it in 2.6.x no longer worked.

Hello,
I don’t know if I am going crazy, but I thought that GnuCash used typical Mac
key bindings (CMD-S, CMD-P, etc.). In the last few weeks, though, most of these
key bindings use the CTRL key. Although I haven’t changed 2.6 in a while, I
have downloaded and run 3.1 (without saving anything),

Correct. And contrary to what others have said, it is more than a tax issue.
If you put home improvements in an expense account, then when you look at your
overall expenses and income at the end of the year, it will be distorted (yes
you’ve spent that, but it is an unusual expense). Having a m

One thing I noticed in the directions was the need for swig2.0, this was
not available from apt while I was compiling on 18.04 and I had to search
and find the newer version. While I was getting the dependencies while
running 16.04 I was able to get swig2.0 from apt.
