I am running GNUCash 2.6.20 on a Linux PC. I have set up a scheduled
transaction to enter my church contribution into my checking account
every sunday.
My problem is I cannot get the scheduled transaction to enter the next
check number and have to go into the program and enter the number
manualy.

To be fair to GnuCash, I have not been able to find a formal definition of

were under IAS39 which deals with embedded derivatives in a hybrid financial

My solution to this problem was to go to Gnucash version 3. Once upgraded you
have to go into preferences->on line quotes and set the Alphavantge key. As I
am in Australia I had to append a .AX to each security abbreviation (eg BHP
becomes BHP.AX) as these are listed on the Australian ASX.

Hi,
If you look at http://gnucash.1415818.n4.nabble.com/ you should notice at
least a dozen threads with the same or quite similar titles, expressing
issues with starting GnuCash 3.0 on Windows (10 usually).
