Unfortunately this is a bug in GTKHtml. According to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350408#c24 the newer version
of GnuCash and GTKHtml in current Fedora do not exhibit this problem.

been present since 2.0.0 and continues to cripple invoice/report printing:

This *really* needs to be fixed before 2.2.0, and comment #15 above even
