Quoting Jani Patokallio <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > There's a rising tide of outrage on Bugzilla over this bug,
Oh, bugzilla has plenty of bugs about gnucash. The only reliable way to fix them is to submit patches. > http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350408 > > This *really* needs to be fixed before 2.2.0, and comment #15 above even > has a patch for doing so. Actually: No, comment#15 does *not* submit a patch for this, but instead it points to a webpage where you are asked to agree to something and it is promised you might be given a patch after that. This is not what we call a contribution, especially under the GPL license gnucash is distributed under. If someone indeed wants to submit a patch that fixes this bug on the gnucash side, it should better be directly added as attachment there, or sent here to the list (but the bugzilla report is better). Also, bugs with attached patches would indeed get more attention by the developers compared to those without (like this one so far). This is no excuse, but an explanation of how this project works. Thank you for all of your contributions.
