Why is this here then? If gnucash doesn't need it & the update quotes
feature doesn't need it then it seems to me it shouldn't be here. I'm
sure I have hundreds of useless mouse clicks picking the correct Type
because importing OFX files is buggy and often times a window pops up
asking me to 'Sel
Export accounts creates an empty file in 2.3.8 but works fine in 2.2.9.4.

Many of the reports work by querying the engine for a set of splits matching a
specific filter, then looping and adding the values (all in scheme). Once the
database backend is released in 2.4, this can be changed to a single SQL query.
