GnuCash isn't designed as a multi-user system; I honestly don't see it
ever going in this direction -- you're asking for a more enterprise
solution, and frankly GnuCash isn't (and probably never will be)
Enterprise software.  You might want to look at something like
SQL-Ledger or GnuE.
