The GnuCash development team proudly announces GnuCash 1.9.5 aka
"The final countdown begins", the sixth of several unstable 1.9.x
releases of the GnuCash Open Source Accounting Software which will
eventually lead to the stable version 2.0.0. This release contains many

I tried to standardize mine to 900 pixel wide, reason was to consider
fitting on a printed page.
Size maybe OK, is that the default color on title bar. Chapter 8 has a

Bengt,
Its a little big imho, but not really horrible. I'll basically leave
this to your best judgement,

Hi,
When I do a "rpm -qf /usr/bin/msgmergev " I get "error:
file /usr/bin/msgmerge: no such file or directory"
When I do
"rpm -q gettext"
I get "gettext-0.14.3-6" so I have the package gettext installed on my system.
When I do
"rpm -ql gettext | grep msgmerge"

While making some changes to register.scm I noticed that the string
"Display the shares price?" in the options dialog isn't marked for
translation. I think the English version would also be better as
"Display the share price?".

I'm not sure Gnucash is eligible, but it could be nice to have students
hired by google that would work on gnucash? I guess there are quite a few

So... Do we REALLY need a new splash screen?
I think Patrick has a point. The "old" spash screen shows the "old"
gnucash in small. If there is a new GUI style/icons and so, it should be
reflected by the splash screen.
