* Regarding the speed improvements of the gnome log viewer, it could
be good to specify that the launch times mentioned in the article are
when loading a 2.9MB log file. Otherwise, it makes the log viewer
looks pretty bad

gnome-utils has been branched for gnome 2.12. Stable releases should
use the gnome-2-12 branch, while earth-shattering improvements will happen
on HEAD.

gnome-utils 2.10.1, codename "insert ironic comment here about the
lack of changes" is out !
People all around the world keep doing what they were doing as if
nothing happened.
This is the last release in the stable branch of gnome-utils, and is

sorry to change things so late in the game, but apparently there was a
problem in gnome-dictionary : the string "_dictionary" was removed
from the translation catalog sometimes during the 2.9 timeframe. This
was pointed out to me by Reinout.
The release team approved the freeze breakage, a
