If the translator-credits string is parsed with XML, that IS a bug.
Otherwise just skip the translator-credits string in the xml check.

Hi,
in git repository, PO files are not updated automatically, so if the
modules you listed were not included in the uploaded translations, they
will won't appear.
Simple solution: get the PO file from damn-lies [1] and translate/upload
that.
More complicated solution: update PO file in the git r

I guess there is a big difference between "active translator" and
"active damn lies user". Since committer can skip all the D-L proces and

Hi all,
does any team uses automated substitution method for translating
software? I imagine en_GB team could get their software translated just
by substituting, say, color with colour. If so, is there a
software/script/plugin, that does that?

Hi all,
I don't think it would be good idea to base module death only on past
commits. Take galeon — it is rather actively translated, but Wikipedia
states it has been discontinued 3 years ago [1]. Even if we only
consider non-translation commits, there might be only bug fixes, that no

I will be there and am interested in a get-together.
If there are no other ideas, we could do a localization documentation
writing sprint, discuss QA issues (like making two tire string freezes),
discuss various translation tools, make a gtranslator bug fest.
Or something like that.

Hello all,
is there a place where I can see "libgweather • UI translations" and

At least in Latvia, translators work across projects and know each
other, so making a single bug tracker for all translated projects in one
language seems natural.

This could be a developer preference. By default bug submissions can be
anonymous, but a developer can require, that for his/her project
submitters have to register. This shouldn't be too difficult.

d) replace it everywhere, but translate only "on the surface" (e.g., in
the menu, but not in the licence - a line would have to be drawn by
someone).

games or specific pages of GNOME User Documentation. If this idea is
acceptable, I can select specific tasks.
