One thing I noticed so far: the "comments" ( ... ) tags get extracted too. Do we want that? Translators will see sometimes non-sense (for the document translation) text and those comments are supposed to be read in editing and review mode only. Would it be possible to skip those tags

base of the checkout even if you don't specify it, that's why I was seeing my last commit. My local checkout was called origin/gtk-2-16 but was a copy of master.
