I'm wondering about these two strings in gnome-terminal:

Does this refer to voip-adresses, such as “skype://johndoe” or similar?

Please bring this up on the german mailing list (gnome...@gnome.org).
Also note that Ubuntu sometimes uses different translations from
launchpad so it's well possible this is not really related to Gnome
Translations.

I'm using the Hamster Applet since Ubuntu 8.10.
Now I'm testing Ubuntu 9.10 and Hamster Applet is too big to use it flwlessly
with 1024-resolution.
I guess the german translation caused the problem with the following text in
the pop-up:
