If you change the original, damned-lies will update automatically the
message catalogs, which will include three fuzzy translations. This
change is done outside the SVN, which will be updated only when the
translators commit the updates.
IMHO, you shouldn't mark the messages as correctly translate

about a spelling mistake and a couple of grammar changes in g-p-m.
The question is really easy: can I break string freeze, and do I have to
modify *every* .po file myself or do I leave that to the translators?

Bug report them, IMHO, preferrably with appropriate references. You
can cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on the bug
The "Preview" string in gedit's taglist plugin was not marked for
translation.

If somehow this can be made an official guideline than it could be
much easier, or at least I think so. What is the process to change the
