I am thinking of constructing a web page.
I started it at one point under Windows but I lost a few files and
with me thinking of eventually migrating to Linux I abandoned it for a
while.
What tools would anyone suggest for me to create and uploade my page
which are accessible with speech in Linux?
When I try to boot Ubuntu with speech on the Ubuntu desktop CD I notice
that I seem to get magnifyer as well.
I have been having a look at the Feisty CD and it seems to work better
on my desktop than the Live CD for Edgy although it does take a few
attempts to start speech but I am wondering if
I have just been looking at Gnucash with orca.
Most of the fields seem navigable with the tab and shift tab keys and
using some of the Orca keys I can do mouse clicks with it.
However I have a couple of problems.
One is navigating the accounts list when trying to set up sub accounts

I have a couple of issues as regards Openoffice writer.
When I am creating a document, if I were to make a mistake and press the
Backspace key to delete it it just says "Backspace."
Is this problem anything to do with my version of Orca which is the one

I am hoping to upgrade Ubuntu on my laptop next week from Dapper to Edgy.
I can use the default software synthesiser but I am not all that keen
on it especially
as one of the Linux groups I attend is in a fairly noisy pub.
Could anyone suggest a suitable software synthesiser and how to install it
I went to my Linux group on Monday to try and upgrade my version of
Ubuntu to Edgy.
However the speech didn't seem to come up when I pressed F5 followed by
3 when the boot menu came up and it seems like even trying to install
without speech didn't work either.
I burned the Live CD myself at home
I found Henric's information on getting Edgy working with Orca only when
I hear the music, CTRL ALT F1 and typing Orca and hitting enter doesn't
seem to responde as the CD drive continues to churn around or it can't
seem to find Orca for some reason as I get no speech.

Edgy beta doesn't seem to be speaking.
I get the music so I assume I have gone into Ubuntu Live only my CDROM

Are there parts of the Edgy installation that are not accessable with
speech?
Also if I get Orca running with Ubuntu Edgy running as live, when I
install it rather than run it as Live, could I set up Dectalk later and
run the Orca setup and configure Orca to recognise the Dectalk software

When I get sorted out, I am hoping to run two versions of Ubuntu on
different computers.
I think I am going to use my laptop for any version that is being tested

When I get Ubuntu on my desktop, should I do my updates via the command
line with apt-get or use that popup thing that comes up when I loggin?
I know that when I use my laptop with my wireless network card, it comes
