Hi, I was wondering if it would be interesting to have a dummy speech driver in gnome-speech that sends text as output, so one could send it to a named pipe, a program or a line printer. Or one could use it to simplify debugging gnopernicus without recompiling, reinstalling, removing etc. What do

Okay, I had cleared the system off and reinstalled and downloaded and ran garnome latest version on this system slackware 10.2 with kernel 2.4.31 and had a melt down. gnome couldn't find python extensions of the type pyrexc and they're not on slackware.com or linuxpackages.net in the slackware
